The 3D Score Viewer

The 3D Score Viewer provides score visibility in the Instruments Visualizer’s fullscreen mode. It’s a 3D plane displaying the actual Score Viewer, allowing direct and indirect interaction (the latter is done through the visualizer’s playback toolbar).

Enabling the 3D Score Viewer

Enable through the Visualizer Settings menu:

The 3D Score Viewer option marked in red

Before and after snapshots of the 3D Score Viewer. Notice the appearance of other UI elements after enabling it

Associated UI Elements

When enabled, three UI elements appear:

  1. Score Viewer Adjustments button
  2. Playback Toolbar
  3. Score Navigation buttons

The elements associated with the 3D Score Viewer. They only appear when the view is enabled and in fullscreen mode

3D Score Viewer Adjustments

Access adjustments menu via the button in the upper right corner (fullscreen mode only).

The 3D Score View Adjustments menu. The position adjustments are applied relative to the initial anchor point while the orientation ones are applied in the local coordinates system. The adjustments are always performed relative to the default adjustments state

  • Each instrument has predefined default positions, rotations, and scaling.

Use Cases

Extensive adjustments may be necessary to optimize screen real estate usage for both viewer and instrument display.
