Show Trombone Positions

This option displays numerical labels for trombone slide positions. The trombone visualization model highlights multiple rings when the slide moves to a position. The number label enhances readability, offering a quick reference alongside the highlighted rings.

Tip

The highlighted rings indicating position are always visible for visualized notes, aiding in quick recognition of the virtual trombone slide’s current position. The position number label further accelerates this identification process.

Horn Type

This feature allows switching between three distinct horn fingerings sets:

1. F horn
2. B♭ horn
3. Double horn

Each set corresponds to its real-life instrument counterpart, with unique fingerings rather than filtered versions of a larger set. This option eliminates the need for separate visualization models for each horn type.

Tip

In the double horn screenshot, note the horn type label on each note variant (instrument). It indicates which horn type the fingering variant belongs to. This is evident by the highlighted trigger key found in the B♭ horn to the right. This trigger key only exists for the B♭ horn and the double horn. The visualization in the figure is of a double horn.
