Show Physical Effects

Enables animations for various percussion elements.

Show Element Labels

Displays labels for percussion element names. Similar to the “Show note labels” option in other instruments, but specific to the drumkit’s percussion elements. Some labels only appear when their elements are triggered, indicating specific types (e.g., open/closed hi-hat or ride cymbal bell).

Tom Drum Mapping

In General MIDI specification, there are multiple tom drums with unique MIDI values:

  • Low Floor Tom
  • High Floor Tom
  • Low Tom
  • Low Mid Tom
  • High Mid Tom

VirtualScore’s drumkit model features only 3 tom drums, with Floor Tom and Mid Tom being configurable. This option allows you to map the low and mid tom MIDI values from the score viewer to the floor and mid tom drum elements in the visualization model.
