Keyboards Instrument Settings
This settings menu applies to the piano visualization instrument model in VirtualScore.
Keyboard Instruments Settings
Staff Color Mode
Visualizes notes for each staff using distinct colors:
- Bass clef: Cyan
- Treble clef: Orange
Animate Keys
Applies a key pressing animation to the visualized notes.
Show Note Labels
A common setting across instruments. For more information, refer to the Instrument Settings’ overview section for common settings..
Show Middle C Label
Displays a Middle C indicator as a strip. This feature is useful for quickly locating the middle C key on the virtual piano.
Show Octave Labels
Presents octave labels for every visualized note. This option is beneficial for:
- Identifying which octave the visualized note(s) belong to
- Learning how notation ranges map to the piano over time
