Tracks Mixer

To access the tracks mixer, tap the Mixer Expand toggle in the top left corner of the Tracks Selection Toolbar.

Tip

• Assign a track as MIDI Destination only after including it
• Set the MIDI Destination track’s visibility order as the first track for optimal visibility
• Excluding the MIDI Destination track automatically assigns the first track as the new MIDI Destination

Note

The expansion/collapse state of the Tracks Selection Toolbar is maintained when exiting and re-entering.

Master and Auxiliary Controls

In VirtualScore, the master, metronome, and pre-count mixer controls are located in the Tracks Selection Toolbar:

• Master: Controls the overall output volume
• Metronome: Adjusts the metronome volume
• Pre-Count: Sets the volume for the pre-count before playback

Toggle visibility of these controls using the second button in the upper left corner of the Tracks Toolbar.

Caution

• Setting metronome or pre-count volume above zero automatically enables these features
• These behave like fixed audio tracks always present in playback
• Their state is reflected in the Miscellaneous Toolbar icons
• This behavior is intrinsic to the underlying open-source technology used by VirtualScore
