Source Track Selection

The Instruments Visualizer is designed to receive notation data from a single source track (also called a score part). This component allows quick assignment of the source track directly from the Instruments Visualizer, eliminating the need to use the Score Viewer’s Tracks Selection Toolbar. This feature is particularly useful when in full-screen mode.

Caution

Assigning a source track through this menu will override any existing displayed tracks configuration set up through the Tracks Selection Toolbar. This menu allows selection and display of only a single track. To preserve an existing displayed tracks configuration, use the Tracks Selection Toolbar in the Score Viewer module instead.

In the image above:

• The checkmarked entry indicates the user-selected source track.
• The selected track is “4. Violoncello”, and the selected instrument is a cello.
• If the 3D Score Viewer is enabled, the order of tracks will be visible.

Caution

There are no restrictions on which selected source track should be paired with a selected visualization instrument. This choice is entirely up to the user. The visualization instrument model will respond to all notes within its supported written range, regardless of the instrument assigned to the source track/part.
