Notes Panel Section

The Notes Panel is a floating box pinned near the playback cursor in Learn Mode, and is displayed when the cursor enters the waiting state.

Panel Structure

The Notes Panel consists of two rows:

  1. First Row: Current notes awaiting user MIDI input
  2. Second Row: Incoming external MIDI input

Panel States

  • Waiting State: Left-most snapshot in the figure
  • Incorrect State: Middle snapshot, notes with same border color indicate a single input unit

  • Useful for testing music reading ability

  • Changes between sharps and flats
3Octave Number
  • Displays octave number for awaiting and input notes

MIDI Value

  • Shows MIDI note number value underneath displayed notes
  • Useful for verifying MIDI input values from external controllers
