Overview

Learn Mode is a core feature of VirtualScore that transforms the Score Viewer into a practice-oriented mode. When engaged, it replaces the resume/pause functionality with a dedicated sidebar for mode configuration.

• Designed for practicing sheet music displayed in the Score Viewer
• Compatible with any MIDI controller capable of sending MIDI notes
• Matches input MIDI notes against current notes in the score
• Evaluates correctness of input and reacts accordingly

How It Works

1. Connect a MIDI instrument to your device and VirtualScore
2. The MIDI controller sends MIDI note messages to the Learn Mode module
3. Learn Mode compares received MIDI notes to the notes obtained from the current note or chord (at cursor’s position) in the score
4. The module determines the correctness of the input and responds appropriately

User Interface Changes

• Resume/pause functionality button is removed
• A dedicated sidebar for mode configuration appears on the left side of the score view
