Range Selection Sidebar

The Range Selection Sidebar provides actions relevant to the currently active range selection. It appears when you:

• Make a range selection with the Selection Toolbar
• Activate a range selection through the Range Selections Toolbar

Key Features

1. Score navigation buttons (skip bars forwards/backwards)
2. Text note viewer
3. Loop delay duration control
4. Audio recording functionality

Loop Delay Functionality

• Specify a delay (short break) between playback sessions of the active range
• Delay values: 0, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60 seconds
• Activated only when a range selection is active
• Clearing an active range automatically disables looping

Access a read-only view of the note attached to the range selection by clicking the info button.

Performance Audio Recording

Record and manage audio performances for the current active range:

• Record up to 5 minutes per recording
• Play and delete recordings as needed

List of recordings attached to the range that is currently active. The names are automatically set to reflect their creation order. The higher the number the more recent the recording is.

Note

The number and duration of recordings do not affect app performance. Only device storage availability should be considered.

Caution

To use the Performance Audio Recording function, you must grant microphone access to the app. This can be done through:

• The operating system prompt after tapping the record button
• The app’s settings in the device’s settings menu (outside of VirtualScore)
