Selecting the MIDI Destination track

Learn Mode requires a specific track to be designated as the MIDI Destination for processing notes data and routing external MIDI controller input.

Selection Process

1. Navigate to the Tracks Selection Toolbar in Score Viewer
2. Expand the toolbar to reveal the Tracks Mixer
3. Locate the MIDI button next to each track’s slider
4. Toggle the MIDI button for your desired track

Note

Only one track can be specified as the MIDI Destination track at a time.

Default Setting

By default, the first track in any opened score document is automatically specified as the MIDI Destination track.

Importance

Selecting the correct MIDI Destination track is crucial for:

• Obtaining accurate notes data for Learn Mode
• Properly routing external MIDI controller input
• Ensuring correct matching process in Learn Mode
