Overview

The Instruments Visualizer Toolbar, located at the top of the Instruments Visualizer view, provides access to essential features for the visualizer’s functionality.

The table below provides an explanation for the function of each of the toolbar buttons. Some of these buttons give access to certain features that are explained further within their own dedicated sections.

1Reset Camera
  • Resets the camera to the initial viewing position and angle.
  • For user-created Viewing Presets, resets to the preset’s camera position and angle.
2Camera Projection
  • Toggles between perspective (default) and orthographic projection.
  • Useful for instruments that are more readable in orthographic projection.
3Source Track Selection
  • Allows selection of the track from which the visualizer receives playback data.
  • Provides a list of parts/tracks from the currently open score file.
  • Enables quick selection without using the Score Viewer module’s Tracks Selection Toolbar.
  • Accessible in full-screen mode.
4Viewing Presets
  • Reveals the Viewing Presets menu for creating and selecting presets.
  • Presets store instrument rotation, camera state, 3D Score Viewer adjustments, and background color.
  • Selecting a preset works similarly to choosing an instrument but restores additional state elements.
5Instruments Selection
  • Reveals the Instrument Selection menu, organized by musical instrument families.
  • Tapping an instrument icon adds its visualization model to the visualizer.
  • Only one instrument can be viewed at a time.
6Visualizer Settings
  • Reveals the Visualizer Settings menu for adjusting various aspects:
  • Voice filtering
  • Accidental note label type
  • 3D Score Viewer settings
  • Visualizer lighting
  • Background color
